Citrine is a variety of Quartz. It's 7 on Moh's scale of hardness. The name comes from its lemon yellow color. It should be stored away from sunlight to prevent color from fading.
Citrine is the birthstone for November. 

Healing properties of Citrine:

Citrine is known for helping to concentrate. It helps people who suffer from depression, stress, insomnia and indigestion. 

Garnet is the birthstone for January.

Although the beads are of a highest quality, they are natural citrine, so treat them as you would treat any other jewelry - after you take it off, put it in your jewelry box, make sure it doesn't come into direct contact with sharp objects or other jewelry pieces as they might scratch the beads. Don't spray perfume directly onto the jewelry, wait for body moisturizers to be absorbed into the skin before putting your jewelry on. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Make sure the jewelry doesn't come into direct contact with water - it won't hurt the beads, but it might affect the macrame cord. Make sure you don't leave your bracelet exposed to sunlight for too long, the color of the beads will fade from the UV rays.
